How can I do a better job of raising seedlings in the greenhouse effect?
Last winter, I launched a bunch of vegetables and flower seeds and a good growth at about 2 inches and then just stopped growing and appeared atrophied. I more than sterile mixture of slow release fertilizers. I tried to keept the temperature of at least 50 degrees at night and often 85 degrees or more during the day. There were above or underwatered and have not seen any signs of pests or fungi. I wonder what's best this year. Is the wood stove that used for heat? There's a fan to blow up 88 degrees. Never had this problem when I had big claws.
Are they getting enough sun? I used to work in a large greenhouse, too, and have found the heat of a substance very well. And you can tell if you have tomatoes, warm nights the need for growth, and the temperature fluctuation is sufficient to confuse and impede their growth. A tomato grower once said trying to grow with cool nights and warm days is like trying to walk with their legs crossed. Its heat of the night is probably not hot enough, I miss him, at least until age 60 if possible, 65 is better. If you can not do that, try to have a mat of heat, especially made for these settings in your seed trays.
